NIGHT OF THE LIVING BREWS!
Pittsburgh Beer Society

The Pittsburgh Beer Society presents Night of the Living Brews at 5151Penn on October 31st, 2007. This killer Halloween Bash is open to all who want to celebrate the ghosts, ghouls, and spirits known to come out on Halloween night. You need not be a member of the Pittsburgh Beer Society. Costumes are highly encouraged and will be rewarded through a best/worst costume contest with fantastic prizes.

DJ Juddy will be spinning mega deep funk and soul into the wee hours of the morning.

An assortment of finger foods, dips, and deserts will be provided throughout the night along with a killer selection of brews as only the PBS knows how to put together. We will be tasting 4 to 6 delectable specialty brews along with Magic Hat #9 as the house beer. We might even have a bit of Pittsburgh's best homebrew. Join us on Wednesday the 31st at 8 PM to celebrate the mixing of the worlds of the living and dead.

Seeing Red

The exhibit, Seeing Red, is a forum for designers to speak out, raise awareness and affect change. It is an opportunity to discuss the issues we care most about in a format we all recognize: posters. This is the medium of the masses, the agent for change - it is the rectangular declaration of who we are and what we believe in.

Opening Reception: Friday, November 3, 7pm-11pm
Artist Meet and Greet: Thursday, November 16, 7pm-10pm
Closing Reception: Monday, November 27, 7pm-11pm

Partisan Project 2006
Various Artists

Partisan Project features the work of designers and artists using their time and talent to help bring about political change. Many see Pennsylvaniafs senate race as the most important in this Novembers election. And Partisan Project, as they did in 2004, has chosen a side. They firmly believe that a vote for Rick Santorum is far worse than no vote at all. With this in mind, twelve designers created posters that are currently being distributed in packs across Pennsylvania.
Opening Reception: Friday, October 6, 7pm-11pm
Closing Reception: Friday, October 27, 7pm-11pm
Other: By Appointment
